NAOMI is a community
where healing happens and lives flourish.
We provide a safe haven for mothers, daughters, and children enduring trauma. For the many who are alone, we journey with them as they heal from trauma, learn invaluable life-skills, and experience healthy community.
Through the compassion of our donors, volunteers, and staff, women and their children are equipped to love and live well.
2004
THE JOURNEY BEGAN
We began our journey in 2004 under the name Hearth Homes serving women and children by providing transitional housing and support services for substance abuse recovery.
2019
PIVOTING & GROWTH
We shifted from housing-focused services to providing relationship-based support and direction which opened the door for more women and children to begin their healing journey.
2024
CURRENTLY
Today we continue to be a community where healing happens and lives flourish. We serve upwards of a hundred women and children enduring trauma with support and direction that equips them to love and live well.
As we grew in our understanding of the healing power of relationships, we changed our name to NAOMI to reflect our desire to journey with women as they heal.
Our name is inspired from the biblical account of Ruth and Naomi— two women who suffered great loss and trauma but chose to support, encourage and serve one another as they journeyed on the path of healing and rebuilt their lives.
Today NAOMI provides support and direction for nearly 200 mothers, daughters and children enduring trauma.
This is the grace-filled mission of NAOMI.
